Born and named Tycho in ancient Rome, Ty West as he is now known was born a Demi God. As with most demi gods he was stronger than any mortal man but he didn't have the powers of the gods like some born in his position. Ty grew up knowing all about his father and hating him, especially when once his mother died his father never reached out to him. He learned at a young age how to hunt to help put food on the table. He was soon known as one of the best hunts man around and would use his skills and his superior strength to help those who had nothing.
One day Tycho was out hunting when he heard a girl scream. He quickly ran in the direction and saw a group of men who were talking to her and not just for a friendly chat. Rushing over Ty persuaded the men, with a little bit of force, that they would be better off leaving her alone. She thanked him and the two of them began to talk.
Tycho and the girl, Mirabella, soon fell in love and got married. Mirabella was a modest woman and the two of them not only made a beautiful couple but were well respected in their village and also in the neighbouring ones. He for his hunting skills and her for her ability to help others heal using the plants and other things found out in the wild. unfortunately this skill of hers would also lead to their downfall.
One night when Tycho was out hunting a religious sect struck the house carrying off the devil woman. In there eyes there was no doubt to heal as she did she must be in league with the devil as their goddess did not condone such things and so they would sacrifice her to their goddess to appease her before she grew angry. Tycho arrived home and saw the state in the house and a amulet on the floor that his wife in her struggle had managed to pull off one of them men. The amulet told him all he needed to know. Filling up his quiver with arrows he rushed to the temple.
The temple was an open one and it took very little time or effort for Tycho not only to locate it but to scale it's walls. As he stood on the top he watched as the three men tied his wife to the stone slab in the middle and began to chant. Loading up an arrow into his bow he dew back the string and waited. It took all his strength and will power not to start shooting immediately but he knew if he did they were more likely to kill her. As the man at the head of the table raised his hands the ceremonial dagger within his grasp Tycho released the arrow shooing him straight through his throat. As he fell back the others began to scatter. Quickly with his god like speed he reloaded over and over taking each man out and leaving none alive. As the last one fell to the ground Tycho jumped down and rushed to his wife and began to untie her as he did do though the sky and the atmosphere around them began to change.
The clouds growing dark both Tycho and his wife knew this was not a good sign especially as the thunder grew louder. Holding his wife closer to him, he placed himself between her and the first bolt of lightening that struck the ground meters away from where they stood. As the dust that had been kicked up from the impact cleared there stood one of the gods. As more lightening landed more and more of the gods and goddesses stepped forward the last one being his father. As his father raised his hands, Tycho's bow and arrow flew out of his hands toward him.
As the goddess of the temple stepped forward she smiled and tapped the ground with a stick. Suddenly vines sprang up from under the ground and wrapped around Tycho and his wife's arms and legs, holding them in place. Tycho pleaded for mercy for his wife to the goddess whose temple it was as she stepped forward. Shaking her head she demanded payment for the death of her followers. Moving over to where one of them lay she picked up the ceremonial dagger and moved towards Mirabella and stabbed stabbed her before handing the dagger to the next one of the gods to do the same. As one by one of the gods and goddesses that had arrived each took their turn, Tycho helpless to do anything but watch screamed out begging them to kill him instead of his wife. As Apollo stepped forward and took a hold of the dagger he looked over at his son. Holding back the tears he felt for the pain his son was going through so he ended Mirabella's torment by striking the fatal blow. The goddess was still angry and cursed Tychello, changing his destiny and forcing him to live for all eternity, to wander the earth mortal yet immortal until he found a love as strong and true as he has with his now deceased wife. As one by one the gods and goddesses left, Apollo apologised to his son saying that had he been able to stop anything of what had happened he would have, and leaving him with a very unique and special bow, before he himself left to join the other gods.
Over the centuries Ty tried many times to end his life, but each time he died he came back to life the following day with no pain and no makings. With nothing to do over time but to wander the earth he honed his skills so fine that not even the gods themselves could do better than him with his tracking and shooting. Over the years he had been everything and done everything. A soldier, a poet, an athlete, a bounty hunter, a police officer, a beggar. None of what he did fulfilled him and his life went in one big circle leading him from helping people, to not caring, to doing harm, to not caring, back to helping people.
It was when he was looking for revenge for the death of a child his paths crossed with the US Marshals and one in particular one caught his attention. Seeing them about to raid the building he himself was about to attack he hid discreetly or so he thought but when he peered out to see what was happening the female marshal suddenly turned her head and looked straight at him. Her eyes burrowing into him to the point he could almost feel her next to him. Seeing her mouth the words don’t destroy yourself by doing it he quickly moved to hide fully once more. He knew who she was, he had entered her life many centuries ago when she was but a child and over the years their paths had crossed countless numbers of times. She knew who he was, what he was, she had seen him at his worst as he had seen her. Yet now as she seemed to be reading his mind when it came to what he was abut to do, he could see she seemed to have found her own peace and he began to wonder could that also be the path for him?
